Caroline Gaines, LCSW-C

Maryland License #19090

Caroline ("Lila")  Gaines (she/her) believes that the root of good therapy is helping clients to cope with difficulties, connect with all the good things life has to offer and live a life aligned with their values and true self. Lila is a clinical social worker with almost a decade of experience working directly with individuals and families coping with issues related to mental health and trauma as well as providing support to other professionals who work with them. A Maryland state recognized clinical supervisor, Lila has helped develop emerging social workers as graduate school instructor for the University of Alabama and through her work at a social work program in Kerala, India. Lila is a member of WPATH (World Profesional Association for Transgender Health) and CAMS trained (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality).
